Almost day 60 of shameless self-promotion here. And I can tell you… it does get better.
Each post feels like you’re shakily climbing Cringe Mountain in front of your peers (truthfully, almost nobody cares). But slowly, it gets easier to post as you start to get a feel for things.
Here’s a quick roundup of observations so far:
- Posting 3x a week gets the same, or even more, exposure than posting 5x a week. Sure, I didn’t test this for very long, but the stats back it up.
- Even if people don’t engage, it’s still noticeable. I’ve had friends mention how often I show up in their feed. A good thing?
- PDF/image carousel posts do well – usually lots of engagement. But apparently, mixing up post types is important, so maybe don’t only do those?
- After the first 30 days, each post now takes about 15–30 minutes to make.
- Still… nobody really loves technical Facebook ad content 🤣 Engagement’s always low on those. Not sure how to fix that yet.
See you in the next update?
