- Lead Generation and Marketing Automation (not just ideas or planning, but hands-on).
- Helping run a distributed web design agency.
- Contracted as Marketing Manager at the Californian RealTech startup Zipi.
- Heading up the Platform Ecosystem at Automated.af, a community for marketing automators.
I started working as an independent professional in 2017, after leaving my previous post as email and CRM marketing manager for one of the largest online eyewear retailers while living in China. Prior to this, I held led a range of digital marketing roles in SaaS, eCommerce and services in Australia and the United Kingdom.
My interest in digital marketing began early which was often a distraction as I went on to study and qualify in the legal industry in my hometown. In order to earn extra income, I started by generating leads on a fee-share basis with my friends who wanted more part-time tutoring students while at university, eventually surpassing the income I earned from my regular part-time role at the time.
You could say this is what had me hooked- the way that digital techniques could be used to automatically create customers and clients for products and services and lead me focus my time endless testing, learning and honing my craft in marketing with digital methods.
Since then I have gone onto apply marketing techniques across all the major digital channels including content marketing, SEO, PPC, social media, email and automation, and have been responsible for multiple $ millions in USD revenue.
