Looking to move from HubSpot to Pipedrive? Thankfully, Pipedrive provides a really smooth tool for processing the migration. Simply follow the steps below:
1. Prepare your Pipedrive
You’ll want to make sure you have the same stages in Pipeline before you move.
Also make sure custom fields can be matched on the contact, deal and company level.
Tip: Be sure to disable automations inside Pipedrive as the automation will run everyone through the machine, triggering all the actions again.
2. Begin the migration inside Pipedrive
Go to Pipedrive > Profile > Settings > Import Data > Import from another software.
Choose HubSpot from your options.
You will be taken to an import2 interface. Log in your HubSpot account here.
NOTE: Once you come to the next page you will be asked to import immediately – there is no warning prompt. So make sure you are 100% ready.
Click START IMPORT in blue to begin.
Sometimes the import progress bar will be faulty – so simply refresh the page and look at the imported records to see if it matches with the number of records the tool says exist.
During the process, you may be presented with errors. Check what these are.
If the errors are related to the Pipeline, you are in trouble. However, this is easily fixed as there will be a grey ‘undo button’ at the top left of this page. Simply undo the migration, make your fixes, and run it again.
Tip: Do not merge contacts if you are going to revert the changes. The merged contacts will remain.
3. Verify the migration
With the migration wizard complete, you will need to double check that you have brought over your contacts correctly.

Also check for duplicates in deals, companies and contacts.
Pipedrive offers a helpful duplicate contact and company checker with a merge function. However there is no way to check for duplicate deals so you will need to assess those manually. See below.
Unfortunately, this tool does not provide for deal duplicates, so you will need to manually check these.
Congratulations, your migration is now complete.
